This is the public starter preview. Use the template, rewrite the content, and publish when it feels like yours.

Starter demo. Replace this copy.

Turn what you do into one clear homepage.

Use this starter for a consultant site, studio page, personal brand, or small business homepage. Rewrite the copy, swap the visuals, and keep only the sections you actually need.

Good first edits: business name, hero copy, colors, proof, and the final CTA.

Clear headline Simple offer Real proof One CTA

Explain what you do in plain language.

Say what you do without jargon.

This starter works best when the first sections sound like a real conversation. Describe the audience, the problem, and the result you help them get.

Example: “I help small teams turn messy messaging into simple websites that explain the offer and get people to act.”

Short answers for the obvious questions.

Is this really static?

Yes. This repo uses plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript only.

Do I need to keep this exact layout?

No. This page is the starter. Replace sections, remove what you do not need, and rearrange it however you want.

Do I need a build step?

No. The default flow is branch-based GitHub Pages publishing with no build tooling.

Can I preview the site before I publish?

Yes. Run sh scripts/preview.sh and open http://localhost:8000.

Is the custom domain optional?

The product promise includes a custom domain. GitHub Pages hosting can stay free, but the domain itself is usually a separate purchase.

What should I ask Codex to do first?

Start with prompts/landing-page.md unless you already know you want a portfolio or personal website structure.

Make the next step obvious.

Replace this with your booking link, email, contact form, waitlist, or the one action you actually want a visitor to take.
